Definition editor: elicitation of pooled means
This page allows you to provide a parameter label for a previously created
pooled mean of determinations. It also allows you to tell the software
which determinations should be averaged to create the pooled mean and
standard deviation.
Accessing this page
This page can be accessed by clicking "Modify" within the list pooled means page, for the pooled mean you
wish to modify. The page is also
shown when the software needs information about a pooled mean you have
created.
Description
You should provide a determination parameter label for the pooled mean
in the "parameter label" field. You should also select the
determinations that this pooled mean is to be calculated from. The
determinations listed are all those from the group you selected that do
not already form part of another pooled mean. Each determination
you select becomes part of the pooled mean, it is removed from the group
and its corresponding determination parameter is deleted.
